Back by popular demand are the Chinese New Year shoe! I tried to get these before Christmas but could not as shipping was slow and very unstable.
They are beautiful shoes. Fabric covered in an embossed silk. If you missed them the first time they are the same shoe that was in the Candy Box. There is a lot of mystery and misinformation about these shoes. Nike released the shoe with the wooden candy box to the designer (Edison Chen) and to Juice his store in Hong Kong in a limited number. The number rumored to be released were 250. Nike does not agree or refute the rumor. Some were picked up by tourists and sold here in the US to collectors on eBay.
Nike continued selling them to the Chinese public except now they come with a matching shoe bag for storage in a paper box with black shoe laces. The outer box is a little shipping weary but in good shape.
They are 100% NIKE Authentic! I got them from a vendor in China, I can still get the wooden box but have had problems with damage during shipping and have gotten these instead. These shoes were made in China and Vietnam. Nike pulled the Vietnam labeled shoe due to bad publicity from wage disputes. I have been buying from him for 2 years. I have sold them before on eBay before check my feedback.
